Winter Poem

Black sparkling satin stretches taught from horizon to horizon.

Winter Poem

Minty winter air,
I breathe you in you soothe my throat.
Fresher winds from northern plains,
Illuminated by green, radiating lanes.

In the streams clear as day,
salmon slide, up the creek,
a magnetic allure, their fins strain
Illuminated by green, radiating lanes.

Rusty orange needles,
with chewed pine cones lay.
Grey stones with turquoise moss,
Illuminated by green, radiating lanes.

Smoke burns eyes and chokes my throat,
beneath opal scales,
the singed pink meat,
Illuminated.
